Re: [Cooker] XFree86 4.0.1+KDE2 = too big fonts !!
with the last XFree86-4.0.1 and kde2 packages the fonts are very very big i use xfs with 75dpi fonts ... someone have this problem and what's the solution for reduce the font-size (ex: helvetica size 10 under xfree4 = helvetica size 14 under xfree3) I had the same problem when connecting to my linux-server via XDMCP from Windows, but the problem dissappeared after I innstalled the new XFree4.0.1 packages (21mdk) and the newest initscripts-package. (I have a Nvidia Riva128 card on the server). Pepper
[Cooker] imap
Hi. Wouldn't it be better if default folder for storing imap-catalogs was ~/mail instead of ~/. . I think the latter (which is default in the package) is messy, and to me it looks like the only way to change it is to change the source-code and recompile the program, and that's not very userfriendly. Re: [Cooker] Kudzu!
Can I disable Kudzu (with drakxsevices) if I have my hardware configured the way I want and still have everything work after a boot? Is Kudzu needed at each boot to recognize and configure certain hardware devices or is it just mainly for detecting changed/new hardware? I disabled kudzu, and everything still works nice :). Think you just need it to automatically detect changes in hardware configuration. Pepper
