Re: [Cooker] CD-Ripping & Encoding for KDE...
Hi, I just installed the latest qt2 lib and qt2 designer2.3.0 i believe. Anyhow, i was setting up a dialog in qtdesigner and i went to create my connections. and it isn't working right. It only wants to set up connections with the widget that i clicked on, and not where i let go of the mouse button. Just letting u know :) thx Fraser - Original Message - From: "David BAUDENS" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Sunday, March 18, 2001 3:26 AM Subject: Re: [Cooker] CD-Ripping & Encoding for KDE... > Justin Young écrivit : > > [...] > > > >> Do you think it could be possible to include that wonderful feature in > > >> incoming Mandrake-8.0, even if it's planned for kde-2.2?!? :P > > > > > >No. > > > > However, if it becomes stable and relatively easy to backport to kde-2.1. > > Who knows? We now only add bug fixes in KDE (it means that KDE 2.1.1 will be used if it releases in time but not KDE 2.2 branch). The feature is very nice (I asked for it in past) but it's too late to add it in 8.0 now. -- MandrakeSofthttp://www.mandrakesoft.com PARIS, FRANCE --David

[Cooker] CD-Ripping & Encoding for KDE...
I copy the following news that I found on http://dot.kde.org * Last week, Michael Matz contributed some code to the audiocd:/ IO slave in KDE CVS to make ripping audio CDs child's play. When you browse an audio CD with this new code (using, for example, 'audiocd:/' in Konqueror), you will find two subdirectories: MP3 and OggVorbis. Each subdirectory will list all the tracks on the audio CD with the appropriate extension (.mp3 and .ogg). Each track can then be dragged to any KDE drop location and be converted automatically into the MP3 or OGG compressed formats. In addition, if thet rack has a CDDB entry, the file is automatically named for you and the. MP3/.OGG tags are set appropriately. The obligatory screenies are linked in the text above. * Do you think it could be possible to include that wonderful feature in incoming Mandrake-8.0, even if it's planned for kde-2.2?!? :P Claudio
