Wow this is nice to hear. I hope Mandrake adds these patches asap. I was
hoping gdb 5.0 would support threads natively, but I guess not.

Cooker folks, 

I just joined this list.  Forgive me if this issue has already been raised
and addressed!

I debug multithreaded servers on Linux, and there are not-so-well-known
patches needed to both GDB 4.18 and Glibc 2.1.3 which are required in
order for GDB to be effectively "thread-aware".

Mandrake 7.1 does not have these patches, it seems!
