Okay, accepting that at face value, a single package still shouldn't be 
45 MB.  Even the kernel sources top out at fifteen.  I don't know, it just
strikes me as fluff when there is good software in contribs that could be
added to fill the second disc.

That's why we now have 2 CD's.  :)  And seeing as how KDE is the reason

  Thanks, Ken.  I realised that when I (unfortunately) "upgraded" my
Mandrake 6.1 installation to Oxygen today.  That part went OK.

I found the extra themes on the cd.. I don't remember
which directory.. however they are there and only
require you install the rpm.

I'd find that pretty hard to believe.. No it doesn't need suid
