That really not possible even if it's *could* be an easy move.

Moving all mandrake_* is pretty trivial and requires minor update.
Moving functions is almost impossible as it means update of _every_ RPM
that includes service.

I suggest scheduling of moving mandrake_* from /etc/rc.d/init.d into
/etc/rc.d for post 8.2. They actually belong there.

Actually Webmin already ignores "functions".

Agreed. I patch Webmin to ignore /^mandrake/.

So where do you want to put them ? I got no idea here where to put
this kind of files.. And it's way to dangerous to do it now.

done for this release thougt.

I can do that, but I follow Andrej opinion -> if a file is not a
"service start/stop executable" file, it should not go in
/etc/init.d/. I think they should go to /etc/rc.d/, where they
are called from anyway.

Gc you patch webmin to don't display mandrake_* script ?

mandrake_consmap is not a service and is not even executable (it is
sourced) and /etc/init.d is probably very bad place for it (OTOH there
is /etc/init.d/functions that has the same "features").
