middle-click works perfectly here with latest cooker.
you have to manually configure the mailing list adress in the folder
properties.

That would be cool. Where's it configured? My middle-click does nothing.

Kmail 1.5/ KDE 3.1.0 here, so there must be something else going on.

Maybe in 3.0.x When I center click my Cooker ML folder in KDE3.1 I'm getting
a blank new message addressed to the list.

Hm now I've seen everything call a usability feature a bug. That does not
really make any sense but who am I to say.

Oh and by the way thanks I really like the middle click better anyway. It's
faster.

I used it to send this. It does not create a blank, new message, but just
replies to whatever message is already selected in that folder. 8(

Shift-L does the same thing.

That was one bug that I liked personally
Maybe it should be a configuration option in the folder settings for a mailing list

Middle-click the mailing list folder name. This makes a new message
addressed to the list. =)

As for the new message button not working like it used to, this is a
*feature* (the new-message button context-sensitive was seen as a bug).

You can add (in toolbar setup) a button that is specifically for "send
message to mailing list" to your toolbar button if you want a button
for it.

I'm afraid it is a new default 'feature'.

2 solutions :

1. you must click on message -> 'new message to list'

2. you must add the 'new message to list' button in the tool bar
(right click on the toolbar -> customize)

Yes curiouser and yet more curiouser. It does not work there either. I do have
