[cross-project-issues-dev] Contributed new build of EclipseLink (pre-RC4)

2012-06-08 Thread Eric Gwin

Hi All,

Since RC3 was announced complete, and Dali requested it, I have submitted a new
build of EclipseLink to the Repo before RC4. At this point it looks like it
will also be our RC4+1 contribution, but Monday will tell...

[cross-project-issues-dev] Eclipse Project to be a little bit late with official RC4 declare

2012-06-08 Thread David M Williams
We got a few last minute respin requests, which should not effect
functionality, but are important packaging issues.

Our +0 deadline is today (5 PM Eastern) and the I-build re-spin will
actually be done by about that time ... but ... our Unit tests for that
build will not finish until Saturday so we will confirm those are as
expected before making the official RC4 rename and declaration.

A l m o s tt h e r e !

Thanks,

Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] Where has http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/m2m/qvtoml/updates/milestones gone?

2012-06-08 Thread Ed Willink

Hi Michael

http://archive.eclipse.org/mmt/qvto/updates/3.2.0/milestones
contains 3.2.0RC1.

http://download.eclipse.org/mmt/qvto/updates/3.2.0/milestones
contains 3.2.0RC3.

So the original complaint about http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/m2m/qvtoml/updates/milestones
was using a repo that had been stale for two years.

Apologies for only translating the complaint, without exploring the
sites first.

Perhaps every project should rename every year to weed out stale
client usage...

I think that you're mistaken. QVTo didn't do an RC2; just RC1 and
RC3; both of which are visible on http://www.eclipse.org/mmt/downloads/index.php?project=qvto.

  The m2m/qvtoml/updates tree was moved across to http://archive.eclipse.org/mmt/qvto/updates;
it has not yet been pruned;  I can see no sign of any post 3.0
  build there; i.e. no 3.1.0, no 3.1.1M4, no 3.2RC1, no 3.2RC3. It
would appear that maintenance of P2 repos by builds failed a
couple of years ago. Fortunately, QVTo has been rather 'stable'.

  I'll keep looking.

The previous location had at least 3.2.0RC2, at least GMFT
that requires range of [3.1.0, 4.0.0) was able to build
  against the Juno version.

Can you please check this?
