Maïeul Rouquette submitted an update to the

eledmac-eledpar

package.

Version number: 1.8.3-1.6.0
License type: lppl

Summary description: Typeset scholarly editions

Announcement text:
--

This release fixes spurious spaces, added by 1.7.0, which has
 made bad justification of text.

This package is located at
   http://mirror.ctan.org/macros/latex/contrib/eledmac/

More information is at
   http://www.ctan.org/pkg/eledmac
   http://www.ctan.org/pkg/eledpar
Unfortunately, these two pages are not quite up to date,
due to a bug in the software behind our "dynamic" web pages.

The following, more traditional views of the information in
our Catalogue give a more reliable picture:
   http://texcatalogue.ctan.org/entries/eledmac.html
   http://texcatalogue.ctan.org/entries/eledpar.html

   Thanks for the upload.

New on CTAN: The "rubik" bundle

2014-02-04 Thread CTAN Announcements
Apostolos Syropoulos and RWD Nickalls submitted the

rubik

bundle.

Version number: 2.0
License type: lppl

Summary description: Packages that draw the rubik cube

Announcement text:
--

The \rubikcube\ package provides LaTeX commands and macros for
typesetting Rubik cube (3x3x3) notation, configurations, and
rotation sequences using the TikZ graphic language.

The \rubikrotation\ package is an extension for the rubikcube
package. It provides the \RubikRotation command which
processes on-the-fly a sequence of Rubik rotation moves
(using the Perl script rubikrotation.pl) and returns the new
 Rubik cube state.

--

These packages are located at
   http://mirror.ctan.org/macros/latex/contrib/rubik/

More information will some day appear at
   http://www.ctan.org/pkg/rubik
   http://www.ctan.org/pkg/rubikcube
   http://www.ctan.org/pkg/rubikrotation
(i.e. when another nasty bug afflicting our website
will have been squashed.)

   In the meantime, try:
   http://texcatalogue.ctan.org/entries/rubik.html
   http://texcatalogue.ctan.org/entries/rubikcube.html
   http://texcatalogue.ctan.org/entries/rubikrotation.html
There is no known reason why these pages should not appear
   quite soon (hopefully tomorrow).
