Hello Again,
Have tried using 'Fix Broken Packages', from the Synaptic menu, and
'Broken' from the 'Custom Filters' button, to no avail...
Any other ideas??

Dear Edwin,
In Synaptic menu there is the option: solve bloked package. Try it.
Maybe some packages are in conflict or you don't have all libriries
for an especific package.
Gilberto.

Hello,
I was trying to install new packages for my Jessie 8, using Synaptic, but
was told that they could not be installed because of broken packages. It
said to look under 'settings' and check my repositories. How do I fix
this?
What should be in my repositories list (in the UK)?
TIA
