Since I'm keeping the Because console-setup is not used by d-i as of now (actually, it's used in Ubuntu, but translations aren't). So, it wouldn't be fair to those who want to first work on d-i to add these 75 strings to their workload. > If I knew that console-setup is not being listed as > a sublevel, I would probably have committed (or already > translated it). Since I'm keeping the SVN up-to-date based on packages/po/ I'm probably missing packages that are not auto-synced, is there a list of such packages? If I knew that console-setup is not being listed as a sublevel, I would probably have committed (or already translated it). Yeah, and I would not like to have to delete them. I could just filter them to /dev/null of course, but IMO it's better set things up on alioth so they get routed just to people who _do_ want them. (That could also be done by routing them to some other group address than private mail addresses of course, but I'm not sure if that is worth setting up.) signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part.

Also it does not have to solve all use-cases. It just has to solve more than without this solution. Further not all install media have to work all the time. So what if the netboot.iso won't work and you need a non-free-businesscard.iso due to firmware udebs? The hoops are for the debian-cd team to jump through, for them to generate a 100% free and an actually usable image. (In future, we *should* depend on cdebconf-terminal and have libdebian-installer be smart enough to notice an XB-Debian-Frontend field and pick the right provider; all these 'anna-install cdebconf-$DEBIAN_FRONTEND-terminal' hacks are unpleasant.) -- Colin Watson [cjwat...@debian.org] -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-boot-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". We could, in principle, do svnadmin dump | (human does some very careful editing) | svnadmin load. We'd have to be very careful, and I'd recommend not doing this until after Lenny is out. -- Colin Watson [cjwat...@debian.org] -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-boot-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". What people things about it? I'm more comfortable with the wiki for relatively small things like this; I added it to DebianInstaller/SqueezeGoals. Feel free to convert it to a bug with dependencies if you want, though. -- Colin Watson [cjwat...@debian.org] -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-boot-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
