Re: Bug #550611: please use libbsd instead of glib for strlcpy
Hi Guillem, I have worked on this package, and plan to upload the new version soon. It now uses -lbsd and -lresolv, with plenty of bug fixes, etc. As mentioned above, I'm looking forward to the inclusion to base system of this package, but in the way to achieve this, libbsd0 is not priority:important, what's your opinion? http://anonscm.debian.org/gitweb/?p=collab-maint/netcat-openbsd.git -- Regards, Aron Xu -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bsd-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#659913: freebsd-libs: FTBFS on Linux architectures
El 14 de febrer de 2012 20:43, Adam D. Barratt a...@adam-barratt.org.uk ha escrit: Source: freebsd-libs Version: 9.0-1 Severity: serious Hi, The new upload of freebsd-libs FTBFS on all Linux architectures. Well, not exactly. It FTBFS with buggy versions of freebsd-buildutils. The bug causing this was fixed in 9.0-3: * Remove getline kludge. The second part was unneeded, the first one caused version_gen.awk to hang. However precisely since 9.0-3 freebsd-buildutils hasn't been buildable on non-kfreebsd. Re: freebsd-libs transition
El 14 de febrer de 2012 20:53, Adam D. Barratt a...@adam-barratt.org.uk ha escrit: kfreebsd-*: libsbuf-dev is needed for a build system component, which is not installed in kfreebsd package. So there's no need to binNMU them? No. libsdl1.2: It was built without usb support because configure probe failed, most likely due to breakage in kfreebsd-kernel-headers which isn't present anymore. With up-to-date sid configure probe succeeds but it FTBFS later due to API change (filed as #659615). Fun... There was a small code error; I sent a patch already. I've scheduled binNMUs for the first level of packages on the transition tracker (URL above). Note that in the process I discovered that freebsd-libs no longer builds on Linux architectures, which will need to be resolved as part of the transition; see #659913. As explained the culprit is freebsd-buildutils, not freebsd-libs. I believe freebsd-buildutils 9.0-6 should now build on Linux-based systems, but I still have no feedback from the buildds. I'd appreciate if someone can confirm, as I don't have a GNU/Linux system at hand atm. -- Robert Millan -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bsd-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe.
