The Ubuntu version of this package doesn't have any dependencies on Beagle, it does neither suggests it... http://packages.ubuntu.com/hardy/gnome/f-spot Am I wrong? notfound 458897 0.3.5-1.2 found 458897 0.4.1-3 thanks On Thu, 2008-01-03 at 10:07 -0400, Zoho Vignochi wrote: > I use tracker for my indexing needs and do not want to install beagle > just for f-spot. I would like to see the beagle part also optional like as a plugin, but currenctly it's part of the core application, thus it can't be optional right now. Being required to install beagle doesn't mean though that you have to use it, so it can co-exist with tracker without disadvantages. PS: next time please use the right version number, the beagle dependency was introduced with f-spot 0.4.1-3 and not 0.3.5-1.2 -- Regards, Mirco 'meebey' Bauer PGP-Key ID: 0xEEF946C8 FOSS Developer[EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.meebey.net/ PEAR Developer[EMAIL PROTECTED] http://pear.php.net/ Debian Developer [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.debian.org/ signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part
