does it work now if you install mumble from experimental and
speech-dispatcher + espeak-data from unstable?

Bug#600276: mumble: Need to switch speech synthesis language according to translations

2010-10-15 Thread Samuel Thibault
Package: mumble
Version: 1.2.2-4+b1
Severity: normal

Hello,

My locale is fr, and thus mumble uses the french translations of
messages. However, the speech synthesis engine is still using english,
thus saying french text with a pure english accent. mumble should switch
the espeak language according to whether the text it wants to speak got
translated or not.

I hated the Mighty Mouse in the Apple Store every time I played with it. I
hated the Mighty Mouse at work whenever I set up a Mac for somebody.
I decided to give it one last chance when I set up my new Mac
And golly, I like it at home.
Maybe mine is defective in a way that makes it good.
