Just exec piuparts foobar_1.00.udeb is fine, so piuparts.org script
 should be fixed.

With quick look, probably piuparts seems to fetch .deb package, however,
udeb is not able to be downloaded with apt-get. I guess, if we can fetch it,
then most of issues will be solved.

I agree and have put this into our TODO file, as a prominent reminder for now.

Bug#699160: piuparts: .udeb handling

2013-01-28 Thread Hideki Yamane
Package: piuparts
Severity: minor

Hi,

piuparts.debian.org is quite useful, but it seems to be not able to handle
.udeb packages. I'm maintain ttf-cjk-compact package and piuparts.d.o reports
unknown status thus it only produce udeb.

Binary:ttf-cjk-compact-udeb

 and see also
 http://piuparts.debian.org/sid/maintainer/d/debian-b...@lists.debian.org.html

If piuparts don't want to handle .udeb files, just report as pass seems
 to be better.

 Could you check it, please?
