 Hi,

I didn't knew that is was no longer maintain. I simply use it because I
did'nt want to modify smb.conf by hand :P
Do you know another software with the same functionnality ?
It' would be great if there was an item in the share aprameters in the gnome
 conf center

There's gnome-user-share. Not sure how much it can do compared to
gnome-system-tools though.

The gnome-control-center has a sharing panel, but it's pretty simple...

 Dear Maintainer,

Despite documentation saying that you can share via nautilus or shares-admin

This is abandonware. Why are you using it? We should probably remove it or
orphan it (in case something like lxde is relying on it).
