It looks like '${python3-ply:Depends},' needs to be removed from Depends in 
debian/control.  We've never supported that construct for python3.  
'${python-ply:Depends},' should go as well, but in that case it's only cleaning 
up a bit of deprecated fluff.  That's not actively harmful.
