Bug#941085: krb5-admin-server stopped to work after a system upgrade

The line

default_principal_expiration = 0

does not appear in the kdc.conf Debian installs.
It sounds like this was a bug in your local configuration.
Am I missing something?

Bug#941085: krb5-admin-server stopped to work after a system upgrade

2019-09-24 Thread kucera

Package: krb5-admin-server
Version: 1.15-1+deb9u1

In a working production system,
'kadmin.local' stopped to work after a system upgrade, with the
following error message:

kadmin.local: required parameters in kdc.conf missing while initializing
kadmin.local interface

The error went away when I commented the following line in
/etc/krb5kdc/kdc.conf out:

default_principal_expiration = 0

(Afterwards, a similar problem with running the 'kadmin' command across
the network also disappeared.)
