Re: PHP 4.1.2
I'd just like to have at least an indication if anyone even _wants_ to fix the existing PHP version, or... not. Something I don't really get here. Debian states on it's site: -- IMPORTANT: the `unstable' version of Debian is the version to which the newest versions of Debian packages are uploaded first. This distribution sees all of the changes that packages go through, both small ones and more drastic ones which affect many packages or the whole system. For this reason, this version of the distribution should not be used by inexperienced users or by those who need proven stability. The `testing' distribution is not necessarily better than `unstable', because it does not receive security updates quickly. For servers and other production systems stable should always be used. -- But how can we still stick to the PHP version in Stable if there are serious security issues with that version and no updates/bugfixes are being released? - Jasper -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Additionally, as I said, the rejection message does contain a unblocked email address, too. So far, postmaster and abuse are not spammed. It may be quite off topic, but I am actually looking for a way to keep the postmaster address open, but until now I haven't succeeded. :-(I use rblsmtpd. Any clues or suggestions? Thanks! Using rblsmtpd and postmaster still receiving mail from all (even blacklisted) hosts
Hi, I tried to find the answer for the question below everywhere (even on the qmail list), but could not find it so far. Hopefully you can help me...I use rblsmtpd on my Qmail server to block mail from hosts that are listed on some blacklists, but I would like to keep my postmaster address ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) receiving mail from all other hosts, even if they are listed on blacklists. Is there a way to achieve this? Thanks in advance! Kind regards, Jasper -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]

php/cgi scripts running on own username
Hi, I am running Debian Woody with the Apache-SSL package and the PHP 4.1.2 package. The websites (virtual domains) of my users are in ~username/public_html Everything runs fine... but right now all PHP (and CGI) scripts are executed as www-data. As you will understand I want these to run under their own user permissions. I read some things about suphp but I am not sure this is the way I should go. Can someone please give me some advice? Some help with mod rewrite needed.
Hi, I am currently struggling with Apache's mod_rewrite. What I need to do is the following: Every URL on the domain mydomain.com should be redirected to: http://www.some-other-domain.com/some-aspfile.asp?something So basically the whole domain should be redirected to *one* specific page on a different server with a different domain name. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance! Kind regards, Jasper ___ -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Web stats for multiple domains
Hi, I am currently using webalizer to generate website statistics for my customers, but to keep a systemwide view I would like to have some kind of stats overview that will provide statistics (especially data traffic) per virtual domain. (and if possible on one page) Does somebody know a way to achieve this? Thanks in advance! - Jasper ___ -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Limit data traffic on Apache virtual hosts
Hi, I would like to limit the amount of data traffic that is generated by the virtual hosts on my server: Let's say I want to allow most domains 1 GB of traffic per month and I would like to generate a warning when they reach 900 MB and shut the site down when it reaches 1 GB (unless my customer purchases additional traffic). Is this possible? And if so, does anyone suggestions on how to do this? Thanks in advance! - Jasper ___ -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble?
