KPilot and pilot-link
Someone have KPilot sync problems? From one week ago, only one of 7-10 syncs works. In Debian Sid with 2.6.16-1-686-smp kernel. BTW, is necessary to install pilot-link in order to use KPilot in Debian Sid? I don't see any dependency, is just one cursiosity after this thread in kde-pim list with the KPilot developer Adriaan de Groot: http://lists.kde.org/?l=kde-pim&m=114548066723320&w=2 Thanks :) Regards, -- Benjamà http://blog.bitassa.cat .

Bluetooth, syncing and mobile stuff is on a much more advanced level in sid. My experience with sid on both my laptop and workstation is, that the applications are generally stable enough (way more stable than Windoze anyway), but that you have to be rather careful when updating, especially dist-upgrading. The xorg blow-up of the last week is a testament to that. Despite the odd hickup now and then benefits of sid stil by far outweighs the disadvantages on a desk-/laptop. regards Jan -- ** Do not use the reply-to address. On another mailing list I was pointed to the Input Method setting. And indeed, when for an input field I change it from XIM to Simple Composing Input Method, dead keys work for that particular field and I can enter characters in the way I want to. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a place where the input method is set globally for KDE. Also, I'm surprised that it should be necessary to change the input method. Any ideas what's up?
