Bug#709283: [akregator] Timeout on slow sites

2013-05-22 Thread Matteo Calorio
Package: akregator
Version: 4:4.4.11.1+l10n-3+b1
Severity: normal

--- Please enter the report below this line. ---
Hello,

sometimes update timeout prevents me to successfully download new articles
from slow sites with lot of data: would it be possibile to increase this
timeout? Or at least to make it configurable?

Thanks,
  Matteo

 Hi Dmitrijs!

Reading upstream's bug log, it seems not really fixed.
Anyway we will consider this patch for Jessie.

 Kinds regards, Lisandro.

I see a couple of uploads to experimental. Was this trivial moc patch
applied? I couldn't work it out, just based on the changelogs.

Regards,

Dmitrijs.

Trinity/KDE3

2013-05-22 Thread Thorsten Glaser
Hi again,

is there a chance of ever seeing Trinity in Debian?

AFAIK they were working (upstream) on getting it to
be usable with Qt4, which is in Debian, and possibly
coëxist with KDE4 (or at least be able to coëxist in
the archive though the user would have to choose which
one to install).

This would help a bit with the Kontact/KDEPIM Enterprise problem.

Thanks,

I'm not going to invest 1 minute in trinity. And I think the rest of the
team feels the same.

So, you are free to do it, but don't come asking for help or guidance.
