Bug#843257: No GTK style
Package: qt5-style-plugins Version: 5.0.0-1+b4 Followup-For: Bug #843257 Dear Maintainer, The gtk2 style has been ported from qt5.6 as a style plugin. It is already available in the qt repository ( https://github.com/qt/qtstyleplugins/tree/master/src/plugins/styles ). If I compile from source with this patch, qt5 apps inherit the gtk2 style correctly. Since the package that provided this feature has been removed from most architectures in sid ( libqt5libqgtk2 ) I believe this patch should be merged so qt5 apps can look good again. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (900, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.8.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages qt5-style-plugins depends on: ii libc62.24-5 ii libqt5core5a [qtbase-abi-5-7-1] 5.7.1~20161021+dfsg-5 ii libqt5gui5 5.7.1~20161021+dfsg-5 ii libqt5widgets5 5.7.1~20161021+dfsg-5 ii libstdc++6 6.2.0-13 qt5-style-plugins recommends no packages. qt5-style-plugins suggests no packages. -- no debconf information

We believe that the bug you reported is now fixed; the following package(s) have been removed from unstable: akonadi-googledata |1.2.0-1 | source akonadi-kde-resource-googledata |1.2.0-1 | arm64, mips64el, ppc64el akonadi-kde-resource-googledata | 1.2.0-1+b1 | armhf, s390x akonadi-kde-resource-googledata | 1.2.0-1+b2 | amd64, armel, i386, kfreebsd-amd64, kfreebsd-i386, mips, mipsel, powerpc akonadi-kde-resource-googledata | 1.2.0-1+b3 | hurd-i386 --- Reason --- ROM; Upstream dead, not usable and newer alternative is available -- Note that the package(s) have simply been removed from the tag database and may (or may not) still be in the pool; this is not a bug. The package(s) will be physically removed automatically when no suite references them (and in the case of source, when no binary references it). Please also remember that the changes have been done on the master archive and will not propagate to any mirrors until the next dinstall run at the earliest. Packages are usually not removed from testing by hand. Testing tracks unstable and will automatically remove packages which were removed from unstable when removing them from testing causes no dependency problems. The release team can force a removal from testing if it is really needed, please contact them if this should be the case. We try to close bugs which have been reported against this package automatically. But please check all old bugs, if they were closed correctly or should have been re-assigned to another package. Thank you for reporting the bug, which will now be closed. If you have further comments please address them to 844...@bugs.debian.org. For users, using kdepim they need kdepim-runtime to be installed to have the new google resources available, but kdepim-runtime is already a hard dependency for kdepim (kontact, kmail, korganizer) packages, so we do not need to provide a special upgrade path. The only problem that can occur for users, is that the new akonadi don't do a default upgrade to the new resource. But the upgrade process from akonadi4 -> akonadi5 must be done anyways and this old package isn't helping in this upgrade process. Ok, I'm still processing my logs, so yes, you are right, this particular message is no longer present since October 13th. However, this file is still present -- if it is no longer packaged, should'nd it be removed? (Maybe a bug in dpkg?) I wouldn't bet on a dpkg error (ocaml's razor and trying not to break the sharks free [1] :) ). Could you provide the output of a "ls -l" of /usr/share/sddm/themes/breeze/components/ ? Would it be possible that the file was restored from a backup? Are you using a special filesystem? Has your system crashed while installing packages? Do you have fsyncs disabled in any way? Nov 14 22:28:23 samd sddm-greeter[3210]: file:///usr/share/sddm/themes/breeze/components/Battery.qml:39:18: Unable to assign [undefined] to int And this file is clearly in the current package: sddm-theme-breeze: /usr/share/sddm/themes/breeze/components/Battery.qml This message is present since October 13th. Ok, is there any battery in the system? (I guess not). I'm attaching a patch for the Battery.qml file that takes into account undefined values. Can you test this? To apply the patch you'll need to run as root: cd /usr/share/sddm/themes/breeze ; patch -p3 < /tmp/WIP_fix_undefined_to_int_log.patch This is asuming you saved the patch in /tmp. You can also use patch -R to revert the patch, or just reinstall the sddm-theme-breeze package. Does this file has the secure_file_priv= line in it? No, but removing it made akonadi update it and now akonadi works. > >> Do you have /var/lib/mysql-files on you fixed system? > > > No, I don't have that directory. I think the package shipping mysqld should create it since mysqld expects it to exist. Reassigning to mysql to see if maintainer agrees. Thanks for the help in triaging! Cheers, Balint
