Re: Requested reminder for Andreas: Put EDAM version into udd
I just saw the first Topics on the Debian Med task pages. This is so nice. Many thanks! @Hervé, would you possibly also find a link to be added for your browser that accepts the name, not the identifier? I am traveling next week but when I return I would very much like to have a quick round of discussion about the links back that we started at the Sprint. I had completed the work on the web service to find the Debian packages for a given topic. That has to still be migrated to work with the EDAM ontology IDs. Sorry for this mess! In the beginning, I set the bug owner to "Debian Med Packaging Team " (just how I did it earlier), but strangely it appeared truncated to "Debian Med Packaging Team <". I was trying to fix this a couple of times. Then I had tried to set the owner to "Debian Med team " just to see if it also would appear truncated, but it was set properly. > The changelog entry which will close the bug > mentions your ID - so that ITP bug belongs to you and is closed by you. > Okay, next time I will set my ID then :-) Just let me know if you consider the package ready for upload Yes, I think it's ready for uploading. Thank you! One more thing, related to QIIME 2. I have found recently that qiime2 and q2cli are just frameworks for plugins [1][2] that do the real job. I am fine with packaging all of them but in my case, it will not be very soon. Are we in a big hurry to finish everything related to QIIME 2? Topics is parsed but it was not really consumed and added to the properties dict but was only triggering a log entry. That is fixed in my last commit[1]. Moreover Steffen did not used the Genshy syntax correctly: The py:when clause needs to be used in connection with py:choose - otherwise nothing is printed at all. I simply turned py:when into py:if[1] (we only have a single condition and not several) and now it works. I might add that the topics list is turned into a '; ' separated list in the reading process (not in the Genshi template). That's a bit more safe. Steffen, there is no topics CSS class - you might possibly want some layout feature. Kind regards Andreas. While I think there is no harm done by changing the owner of this ITP bug its rather unusual. The changelog entry which will close the bug mentions your ID - so that ITP bug belongs to you and is closed by you.
