Bug#451079: umbrello: Can't open file saved by umbrello
Package: umbrello Version: 4:3.5.5-3 Severity: important Hello, I have found simple logical diagram that is being generated from our sources. It is successfully can be opened by umbrello. But if I after opening it move the two objects from list of objects pane to diagram itself and save result to file, the result file is broken somehow. Umbrello eat all cpu and does nothing while opening this file. Both files source and result will be attached. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-5-686-bigmem Locale: LANG=ru_RU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=ru_RU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages umbrello depends on: ii kdelibs4c2a4:3.5.5a.dfsg.1-8 core libraries and binaries for al ii libart-2.0-2 2.3.17-1 Library of functions for 2D graphi ii libaudio2 1.8-4 The Network Audio System (NAS). Bug#433389: libqt4-core: background images are not set by QPushButton anymore
Besides the "border: none" that you should add to prevent native borders drawing over your image (this may be a bug), only selected widget classes are eligible to have styled background. Buttons are not in that list. Then, while pure QWidgets can have background images, any derived custom class with Q_OBJECT can't. Forcing w->setAttribute(Qt::WA_StyledBackground, true); in qstylesheetstyle.cpp will allow you to use background images. I haven't noticed any ill effects yet. I don't know why upstream has limited this however. Apparently, this hasn't been fixed in upstream snapshots yet. Note: the bug described in http://trolltech.com/developer/task-tracker/index_html?method=entry&id=170499 has nothing to do with this one. It isn't a Designer-only problem. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Bug#451046: qt4-x11 makes inconsistent use of floats and doubles
Package: qt4-x11 Version: 4.3.2-1 Severity: important Tags: patch When investigating the build failure of ktoon on mips/mipsel/arm I found it comes down to two problems in qt4-x11: a) It mis-assumes that non-IRIX MIPS systems generally have no FPU. The appended patch fixes that. b) For ARM and MIPS it defines qreal as a float, which confusingly means isDouble() returns a float value. But other parts of the package, as well as users of qt4-x11, continue to use double types instead of qreal, which leads to data type mismatches, and eventual build failures. Unless the intent is to outlaw the use of "double" or "float" for all uses of qt4-x11 I regard this feature as inherently broken. I'm also dubious about the performance gain achieved by this hack, I CC debian-arm for more insight into this. Bug#430915: more info
I believe this bug is the same with #138196 in the upstream kde bugzilla, which can be found here: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=138196 As mentioned towards the end of that page, the problem might be related to superkaramba . I've stopped using SK, 3-4 days ago when I saw that bug report and I haven't had any problems ever since (while previously I couldn't go for even one day, without hitting this bug). Does anyone else have a similar experience, i.e. not having seen this bug after removing superkaramba ? signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part.
