When closing kde session on a dual screen system, ksmserver breaks
$HOME/.kde/share/config/ksmserverrc

In restart command referring to second screen restartCommand2= it adds
a ',' after the = sign, if you remove it by hand it is added again after
finishing the session.

Due to this bug kwin do not start for display 0:1

Bug#506113: kdebase-bin: kdesu doesn't work with fprint

2008-11-18 Thread Sjoerd Hardeman
Package: kdebase-bin
Version: 4:3.5.9.dfsg.1-5
Severity: normal

-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-
Hash: SHA1

Dear maintainer,

When I have fingerprint-login to root enabled, kdesu no longer works. Strating
a program with kdesu then doesn't do anything, but probably wait for some
input. Inserting a fingerprint doesn't help. Other kde-login programmes do work
with fprint and its pam solutions. It's not a big deal (I can of course disable
root fingerprint login), but having this working would of course be neat.

Cheers,
Sjoerd Hardeman

Bug#506167: kdebase-kio-plugins: protocol fish:// does not work

2008-11-18 Thread Noel Torres
Package: kdebase-kio-plugins
Version: 4:3.5.9.dfsg.1-5
Severity: important

fish has stopped working. Now, when I try to use it even on localhost, it asks
for user/password and then it shows me:

Se produjo un error al cargar fish://localhost:
El proceso para el protocolo fish://localhost terminó inesperadamente.

Approx translation:
There was an error loading fish://localhost: (last colon is from the message,
not from the URL)
Process for fish://localhost protocol finished unexpectedly.

I can not show you which orders it tried in the remote shell, since they're
encrypted by ssh :(
