Bug#280806: what about two-way sync
I'm interested in two-way sync possibilities between cvs and darcs. There is supposedly a tool for this at this web site which is not responding: http://nautilus.homeip.net/~lele/projects/cvsync I would be more interested in packaging such a tool than a cvs2darcs, one-way tool at the moment, since I have a lot of use for a two-way sync. I'm hoping to investigate this other tool when it comes back online. peace, isaac

Bug#279503: ffmpeg2theora
[EMAIL PROTECTED] (2004-11-18 22:41:14 +0100) : found http://lists.debian.org/debian-wnpp/2004/11/msg00103.html today, and just wanted to let you know that a new version of ffmpeg2theora is out ;), Okay. I may update the packages sometime next week. more than that i wanted to say, that since i am using debian/unstable on all my desktops, providing a debian subfolder and keeping it in sync is something i could do once ffmpeg hits unstable. As mentioned in the RFP bug report (CC'ed, and available at http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=279503), I'm not really willing to maintain the package for now, merely providing initial packaging for someone to adopt. But I assume if someone eventually comes around to properly maintain it, he/she would probably discuss the matter with you. Thanks for the notification in any case :-) Roland. -- Roland Mas A man walks into a bar. Bang.

It is intended as a tool to help manage the apt-get(8) file cache, but could be configured to work with any collection of Debian packages. . Bug#281566: Offering help to findutils
Hello Andreas, I just saw your RFH on findutils, and I would like to help serve as a backup maintainer (or co-maintainer) for that package. I am currently only maintaining ident2 and in the process of adopting apt-move, have a stable job with few travels or other duties that prevents me from keeping an eye on my packages, and I am also a competent C programmer (12 years experience, many of them on Linux), so I consider myself very suitable for such a job. Bug#282151: RFP: mysitemaker -- mysitemaker is a way to quickly create a canned database-driven web-site with a simple view.
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist * Package name: mysitemaker Version : 4.2 Upstream Author : ITLab [EMAIL PROTECTED] * URL : http://mysitemaker.sf.net/ * License : GNU GPL Description : mysitemaker is a way to quickly create a canned database-driven web-site with a simple view. Long description: (straight from the README.html) Features: * Web based configuration. * Automatically generates Search, Results, Add and Edit HTML screens. * The search screen is very simple, easy to use and does not require the user to have any knowledge of SQL. * The user can select which columns they want to view or export. * Searches can be based on the contents of files that the user can upload. For example, the user might have a list of employee numbers in a file and, instead of having to run a separate search for each number, they can just upload the file that contains the numbers. * Searches can be refined by allowing searches within result sets. This effectively lets users append AND style clauses to their searches without complicating the user interface and without requiring the user to know SQL. * Data can be viewed or exported in a variety of ways: * as HTML pages * as CSV text files * as tab delimited text files * as MS-Excel files The administrator may specify columns in the database that contain only URLs or email address and they will appear in the results screen as hyper-links. When combined with [13]MySQL Import and [14]MySQL Users, you can easily create a new on-line database from a simple spreadsheet in a matter of minutes. See the [15]Tool Suite for an example. A great way to create a rough sketch of a web interface to a database which can then be easily customized to your specific needs. Bug#190811: status of RFA on bbmail
Hi Matt I see that there is still an outstanding RFA on bbmail (#190811). Like a couple of the people before me, I too use bbmail and would be interested in taking over maintenance of it, although I don't want to step on toes. I know it really hasn't been an active project, but someone has to maintain it and it might as well be someone who uses it. I'm not a DD although someday would like to be. I've packaged a couple things already and am working with one other DD on getting it uploaded. Incidently, the current bug filed against bbmail (Bug #241714) ... I have a similar setup to the person who filed it, and I do not experience the same problem.
