Bug#148319: Retract ITP of unreal-ircd
retitle 148319 ITP: unreal-ircd -- feature-packed IRC server daemon thanks You may find my work on http://adn.diwi.org/debian/unrealircd if you want to work on it (if someone is interested in it, I would be ready to Co-Maintain it with him). Robert Karpeles (admin -AT- ff -DOT- st) has just contacted me to co-maintain UnrealIRCd. As he is already bugfixing upstream and has good contact with them, we 'll try to go on with these packages. -- adn Mohammed Adnène Trojette La compagnie des honnêtes gens est un trésor. Bug#292754: O: libcpanplus-perl -- Download and install perl modules from CPAN - in a modern way
Package: wnpp Severity: normal I intend to orphan the libcpanplus-perl package. I've packaged it back when i thought i would regularly work with it, but this didn't happen. As it will probably be a part of perl 5.10, someone should try to work with our users to find out what the best way to package it is. I've implemented some ideas, but didn't have the time to really check if it works in every situation like I think it should. The package description is: The CPANPLUS module is designed to automate the download, make and install of perl modules and extensions. . It uses the CPAN network to fetch all needed data and is also able to search for modules and/or keywords. . CPANPLUS will replace CPAN in the 5.10 series of perl. The last line is obsolete anyway, CPAN will still be part of perl 5.10. There is a new upstream release available (0.51), but the diff to the Debian package (0.49) is *really* big. Bug#292770: O: cacti -- Frontend to rrdtool for monitoring systems and services
Subject: O: cacti Package: wnpp Severity: normal I orphan the cacti package. I have no longer time maintaine this package. Package: cacti Description: Frontend to rrdtool for monitoring systems and services Cacti is a complete frondend to rrdtool, it stores all of the necessary information to create graphs and populate them with data in a MySQL database. The frontend is completely PHP driven. Along with being able to maintain Graphs, Data Sources, and Round Robin Archives in a database, cacti handles the data gathering also. There is also SNMP support for those used to creating traffic graphs with MRTG.
