The development of pmidi is stopped and it requires a drastical changes to fit with glib 2.0 after the remotion of glibi 1.2, so I think that the best solution is to remove it from archives. Best regards, Francescoo The package description is: ALSA is an effort to create a modules sound system for Linux, while maintaining full compatibility with OSS/Lite. . This program works with latest ALSA 1.0 drivers and former 0.9 versions. . This is a straightforward command line program to play midi files through the ALSA sequencer. . As you can specify the client and port to connect to on the command line it is also useful for testing ALSA or clients that need to receive sequencer events. . I'm somewhat wary of third-party repositories, because if the package is good enough for Debian/Ubuntu, why is it not in "the real distribution"? Whether or not the packaging is already technically functional, a sponsor will need to check it just as thoroughly as anything else. Sorry, I have enough packages in my queue at the moment that I don't really want to embark on copyright/licensing/non-malicious-code checking for another one, but perhaps someone else in the Games Team will. > PS: I packaged the version I stumbled upon in my basement; I need to check > this other one too: > > http://www.polygon.com/2015/1/20/7863577/free-theme-hospital-origin > > https://www.origin.com/en-gb/store/buy/theme-hospital-origin/pc-download/base-game/standard-edition > > I don't even know what Origin is (something like Steam ?) Bug#610087: RFP theme hospital
Hi, I've added rules to Game-Data-Packager to package the data from both the full & demo as .deb . https://github.com/a-detiste/game-data-packager Both data packages work fine with the game engine packaged at Ubuntu GetDeb http://www.playdeb.net/updates/ubuntu/14.10/?q=hospital http://ftp.dk.debian.org/getdeb/ubuntu/pool/games/c/corsix-th/ We could upstream/fork this package into Debian, and be done with minimal effort. PS: I packaged the version I stumbled upon in my basement; I need to check this other one too: http://www.polygon.com/2015/1/20/7863577/free-theme-hospital-origin https://www.origin.com/en-gb/store/buy/theme-hospital-origin/pc-download/base-game/standard-edition I don't even know what Origin is (something like Steam ?) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-wnpp-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Bug#724718: ITP: flexget
Hi, I've built the package from git and attempted to install it but I'm running into a dependency problem: flexget depends on python-dateutil (<< 2.0); however: Version of python-dateutil on system is 2.2-2 The version of python-dateutils in unstable can no longer satisfy the dependencies, so there may be problems when it comes to getting the package accepted from NEW. As I've learned, you can upload multiple versions of the package to NEW simultaneously and they will be accepted (or rejected) together, so it's probably worth doing this. I've only been maintaining one package so far so I'm not exactly experienced yet, but I'm happy to help in any way I can.
