umfangreichen Dokumentation. Habe ich das Lesen verlernt?

Has anyone involved tried to talk to the listed persons on IRC?
At least joy and neuro are online regulary. It would be easiest if
one of them acknowledges that the people currently working on the bugs
are the real mirrors team currently...

actually i think we should CC [EMAIL PROTECTED] because we need improovment

[EMAIL PROTECTED] we might need some more persons to be added to that team as

That's because those mails are signed with GnuPG, which uses the line
"-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-" for marking the start of the signed
contents. If another line starts with a hyphen, it is escaped using "- ".
I'm pretty sure that you've received all DSA mails with this escaping.

remove "Upgrade instructions" in dsa-740.wml

2005-07-06 Thread Simon Paillard
Hi,

By translating dsa-740, I noticed a superfluous Upgrade
instructions. Can someone remove it ?

Morover in dsa-738, the line about woody should appear in first, in
order to be homogeneous with other DSAs.

(what is following is much for debian-security ..)
Endly, I noticed in all new dsa sent by mail that a dash is missing in
the 2nd column of each line full of .
Quite strange !

It is the one made by ftpmasters, so yes, this is the final location.

Wrong link in http://www.debian.org/security/ ?

2005-07-06 Thread Gabriele Monfardini
Hi, excuse me if I've send the message to the wrong place.

In page http://www.debian.org/security/ it is suggested to add the
following line to sources.list to be in touch with security updates
  deb http://security.debian.org/ sarge/updates main contrib non-free

This doesn't work properly for me. On the contrary the following line
seems to be correct
  deb http://security.debian.org/debian-security/ sarge/updates main
  contrib non-free
If it is my error, please report me the correct procedure.

Best regards,

When using wget, my DVD download stops after around 379 MB, but the DVD
  is 4.4 GB large!

Your version of wget does not have large file support, i.e. it has
trouble downloading files larger than 4 GB. Either upgrade to a version
of wget which does not have this restriction or use the curl command line
download tool: "curl -C - [URL]"
