It's just that it pops up a window which shows the message below, so I guess there must be some accelerated DGA which I could benefit from. Do you use XFree86 4.x and is your Matrox in this server accelerated ? Hi, did anyone manage to run vmware-2 fullscreen with DGA on XFree86 4.x ? -- I get the vmware message: Your X server does not support XFree86 DGA accelerated graphics on your display hardware. Full-screen SVGA mode will not have acceleration. You may be able to download an updated XFree86 server at "http://www.vmware.com/xfree86";. I've loaded the 'extmod' module and the 'dga' test program works nicely. I'm running a ATI 3D Rage LT Pro. -- Johannes

libX11 is borked (or is it glibc ?)
Hello, I cannot link any more against libX11.so: /usr/X11R6/lib/libX11.so: undefined reference to `getpwnam_r@@GLIBC_2.0' this shows, even if I link a minimal c program. my versions: ii xlib6g 3.3.6-11 ii libc6 2.1.94-3 Any comments ? -- Johannes
