Bug#380171: xserver-xorg-video-ati: Mouse pointer messed up on second head

Which xserver-xorg-video-ati are you using? If 6.6.3, could you try 6.6.192 currently in experimental? If it still doesn't work, please send the whole output of /usr/share/bug/xserver-xorg/script 31 I was running version 1:6.6.3-2. I tried 6.6.192-1, and it was a miserable failure. I could not get it to go in dual-head mode. I just went into clone mode where the two panels display the same thing (there was a bug about this a few years ago). If I move the mouse form the primary display to the secondary display then X crashes. zaphod mode (classic dualhead) is currently busted in radeon master. If you want dualhead you'll need to use the old driver or use mergedfb. Alex -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Bug#380171: xserver-xorg-video-ati: Mouse pointer messed up on second head
Hi, About a year ago, you reported a bug to the Debian BTS regarding the mouse pointer not being displayed correctly on the second head of an ATI board, possibly fixed when using software cursor. Did you reproduce this problem recently? With Xorg/Etch? With latest xserver-xorg-core and drivers? If not, I will close this bug in the next weeks. Thanks, Brice -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I just tried on on the same hardware configuration, and it works fine now. As far as I am concerned, the issue is resolved. xserver-xorg1:7.2-5 xserver-xorg-core 2:1.3.0.0.dfsg-6 xserver-xorg-video-ati 1:6.6.3-2 Thanks, Marc -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe.
