[libreoffice-design] UI/UX Priority List
Hi All, I've seen other projects/teams better organize their efforts by having a roadmap or list of some sort on what things can be worked on. So i've taken on the task to begin working on such a list and everyone is welcome to contribute to it. I know Kendy's two talks at fosdem were well received and it would be good to point users to one resource of various sections of UI and UX that they can browse through and see what they would interested in taking on. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1WuY-DbtRSy3eQ3L8HDXEmlTs3KT-IHqxHEGCQynI9v0/edit?usp=sharing Kendy has already stated that this list will help him work on categorizing bug reports according to their skill levels and i hope it will have benefit to you as well. If you do contribute, please sign-in so that the changes arent left by 'Anonymous'. If you have a category of things you wish to work on in the document, please create a new page at the end of the document and begin working on it there. Re: [libreoffice-design] Respecting the UX community
Hello Björn, Björn Balazs wrote on 2015-02-24 at 14:19: Dear fellow UX community & board of directors! I have to write this mail, because I feel very unhappy about the result of the LO-Android Tender [1]. thank you for your mail and your feedback on the tender. The Android tender is a major project for TDF, and we have invested lots of time and resources into making it happen. We are sorry that you feel the absence of work package #3 is critical to the success of the Android project. Rest assured that UX is as important to the board as all other topics. For example, just yesterday, we have published a tender for user metrics collection, which shows our commitment to this topic. Can you point out what major interface decisions have been taken in the Android tender work so far that would need revisiting? [libreoffice-design] contest for the CSS of the Templates & Extension website
Hello, Andreas wrote yesterday on the website list he was okay with launching a public contest for the best CSS for the templates and extensions website. Would it be possible to use the design team alias like what was done for the document templates? What would be needed ? Thanks, Charles. -- To unsubscribe e-mail to: design+unsubscr...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/design/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
