[Bug 1849249] Re: gnome-shell crashed with SIGABRT: mutter:ERROR:../src/core/window.c:4841:set_workspace_state: assertion failed: (workspace == NULL)
I also see this assertion with a slightly different line number: [ 4892.053454] desktop gnome-shell[4423]: mutter:ERROR:../src/core/window.c:4849:set_workspace_state: assertion failed: (workspace == NULL) I installed Pro Motion NG from cosmigo.com through Wine (Ubuntu repository). The crash occurs when opening the "Load Project" file requester. I have three monitors. The application does not crash if the window is moved to the leftmost or rightmost monitor. It crashes on the center monitor only. This is irrespective of the primary monitor setting, and also of monitor numbering (I changed the physical connections). The resolutions are 1920x1200 (left), 1920x1200 (center), 1920x1080 (right), on an AMD RX 580. [Bug 1851554] Re: can't install gnome shell extensions
OK,so I just discovered that if I open gnome-shell-extension-prefs, there's a switch in the upper right corner of the window, which apparently disables all shell extensions, and I had that switched turned off, though I have no idea how or when I did that. [Bug 1857891] Re: Authentication code required for keyboardless device
apport information ** Tags added: apport-collected ** Description changed: Hi, I'm trying to connect a turn page pedal which acts partly as a two- button mouse (provides left- and right-click depending on the pedal you press) and partly as a keyboard (can send keycodes as enter, space, left, right, PgUp or PgDn...). It only has two pedals and no keyboard (see it on manufacturer's site: https://www.donnerdeal.com/products/donner-bluetooth-page-turner-pedal- for-tablets-ipad-rechargeable-black?_pos=4&_sid=b8e2efbcf&_ss=r). Whenever I try to connect it to bluez, it asks me for an authentication code which is impossible to provide, of course. I've search deeply but couldn't find any means to automatically "trust" my pedal. I've tried it on Windows and Android: it functions smoothly... [Bug 1845046] Re: Bluetooth headphones/speaker default to low quality headset mode and fails to switch to A2DP when selected
Progress, and some bad news... Testing with Sony WH-1000XM3 I can reproduce the bug easily. But it's not a recent regression if at all. The same bug occurs in an original Ubuntu 18.04 install without any updates. I'm tempted to clarify that Sony WH-1000XM3 is our main test case here. Any future fix might benefit multiple different models, but it seems the WH-1000XM3 is presently very popular and is what the original reporter(s) of three quarters of these bug reports are using. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1845046 Title: Bluetooth headphones/speaker default to low quality headset mode and fails to switch to A2DP when selected To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/pulseaudio/+bug/1845046/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
