[Bug 728181] Re: Accept MSN contact request in Empathy fails
I found a way to add contacts: 1. Turn off all accounts except the account to accept requests with. 2. Restart Empathy. 3. Accept requests. 4. Restart Empathy again. I had an MSN account active, in addition to the one I would accept requests with. Quite annoying... -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to empathy in ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/728181 Title: Accept MSN contact request in Empathy fails -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 728181] [NEW] Accept MSN contact request in Empathy fails
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: empathy I just asked some people to add my MSN address, and several did. The problem now is the following: - Contact requests will not appear until I sign out and back into MSN account. - Request list does not show when the request was made / received. It's just a small circle-like thing without text. (For mail it displays how many hours / minutes it is since I got the mail) - When I accept a contact, it disappears from the request list, but do not appear in contact list. - Next time I log in it displays the requests again. [Bug 410288] Re: Nautilus does not handle FTP timeouts well
Problems connecting after timeout and sometimes difficult or impossible to disconnect. When I edit files over FTP, files are often overwritten with a blank file, which creates a lot of extra work for web developers.
