[Bug 573870] Re: Cannot add a wav file to an audio project through a symlink
This is not invalid, but the description is vague. The real proble is that Brasero does not follow symlinks when in "Audio CD" mode. No matter what type of a file is added, if the file is a symlink, then brasero claims an error, because it does not follow the link. This is, I'd say, of medium annoyance, because symlinks are a perfect tool to create playlists (independent of player issues/formats like PLS or m3u), but then those have to be burned in GnomeBaker, which IMHO offers less usability. Please give a look to this perhaps simple issue. ** Changed in: brasero (Ubuntu) Status: Invalid => New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to brasero in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/573870 Title: Cannot add a wav file to an audio project through a symlink To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/brasero/+bug/573870/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

** Description changed: Binary package hint: gcalctool As of ver. 5.32.0, the switching between octal, decimal, binary and hex realms in "Programming mode" has been changed from radio buttons to a list. [Bug 545300] Re: "toggle between button and text-based location bar" missing
Sebastien, I did the search, and failed to find it. Anyway, this is a simple bug: in Nautilus 2.28.1 (Ubuntu 9.10) the button exists, in newer versions (Ubuntu 10.04) it does not. Somebody has removed it, and we simply find this feature important. I personally like to navigate with buttons, and then, if necessary, to copy the path into console, but that possibility has been removed. ** Changed in: nautilus (Ubuntu) Status: Invalid => Confirmed -- "toggle between button and text-based location bar" missing https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/545300 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 438023] Re: gdm login window keyboard setting overrides gnome-keyboard-properties
I had the same problem, just found the fix: FIX: when you see the GDM login window, on the bottom right side is the keyboard selection window. Change the keyboard layout to what you need. STEPS TO REPRODUCE: 1° start Ubuntu 2° on the login screen, change keyboard to from your typical "layout A" to the new "layout B" 3° log in; now you have "layout B" as keyboard layout 4° go to system->preferences->keyboard (gnome-keyboard-properties), tab Layout, you see "layout B", 5° click "Reset to defaults"; you get "layout A". HOW IT SHOULD BE IMHO: I don't know whether it's a bug or a feature, but it should not be so. IMHO the keyboard layout in gdm login window should change the keyboard layout for only one session, or even just for the login window. Optionally it could start gnome-keyboard-properties after login. #421212 is different. -- gdm login window keyboard setting overrides gnome-keyboard-properties https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/438023 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
