I'm not quite sure what you mean. Do you want an AVHCD file attaching? The file manager lists all '.MTS' files as 'unknown (application/octet-stream)' even with 'vlc' installed which can play those files. Movie Player can't play the files - even after plugin search - complaining about 'The playback of this movie requires a MPEG-2 Transport Stream demuxer plugin which is not installed.' Downgrading libgl1-mesa-dri to version 7.5-1ubuntu1 fixes the problem. [Bug 419434] Re: X server fails with DRI : drmRadeonCmdBuffer: -22
Can you try switching DRI off. You can download the attached Xorg.conf file and put in in /etc/X11. Then log off and back on again. If the server works with DRI switched off, then that is this bug. If it doesn't you'll need to log another one with 'ubuntu-bug xserver-xorg- video-ati' as it may be something different. ** Attachment added: "ATI Radeon Xorg.conf" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/31285370/xorg.conf -- X server fails with DRI : drmRadeonCmdBuffer: -22 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/419434 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 50079] CD Burner needs file based temporary directory
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus-cd-burner By default CD Burner uses the system temporary directory to store the image it is creating to burn onto disc. This is normally /tmp which is a tmpfs filesystem and has a tendency to fill up when you are burning large DVDs. On smaller systems the swap space is unlikely to be big enough to accommodate a DVD image. I would suggest setting 'temp_iso_dir' to /var/tmp by default. The current workaround is to use 'gconf-editor' and alter the variable by hand.
