[Bug 544207] Re: MPH 2b Damase font not displayed

[Bug 544207] [NEW] MPH 2b Damase font not displayed
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: epiphany-browser Text in the Gothic language, such as on http://got.wikipedia.org/, is not displayed properly even when the package mph-2b-damase is installed - just the little squares of missing glyphs are displayed. It works well in Firefox. ** Affects: epiphany-browser (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- MPH 2b Damase font not displayed https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/544207 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to epiphany-browser in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 291881] Re: Search folders have the wrong Unread count
The fix certainly works here, after I followed the advice of Larry Reaves in the GNOME bugzilla report, that is to delete ~/.evolution/mail/vfolder/folders.db. Since I do not know what this file does, I can't guarantee that deleting it is a good idea for everyone, but it worked for me after the upated package was installed. -- Search folders have the wrong Unread count https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/291881 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 229189] Re: Broken link epiphany-browser.1.gz in /etc/alternatives
I use Hardy Heron. It can be "reproduced" like this: ls -l /etc/alternatives/epiphany-browser.1.gz The output will show that the link is broken. [Bug 258139] Re: Handles e-mail addresses with multiple dots improperly
I'm using Hardy Heron. About validity, I'm not sure if it is valid according to standards, but these addresses exist and e-mail that is sent to them, or from them, is delivered. [Bug 258139] [NEW] Handles e-mail addresses with multiple dots improperly
Public bug reported: I'm visiting Japan, and apparently some people here have addresses to there cell phones that look like this: [EMAIL PROTECTED] The two consecutive dots confuse Evolution, so it sees it like this: something-.. <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>. Hence using the reply button won't work when the senders address looks like that, and it will go wrong in all kinds of places. ** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Handles e-mail addresses with multiple dots improperly https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/258139 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evolution in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 246718] [NEW] Using gnome-display-properties causes X DPI setting to change
Public bug reported: After gnome-display-properties has been invoked by a user and ~/.gnome2/monitors.xml created, X dpi will always be set to 96 when the user logs in to gnome. This is especially annoying since it's not obvious necessarily obvious to the user why it happens, and some people like me will tend to spend considerable time looking throught X and GDM configuration before finding the cause of the problem. Removing ~/.gnome2/monitors.xml works, but I suppose that is not an ideal solution for everyone. ** Affects: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Using gnome-display-properties causes X DPI setting to change https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/246718 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 224656] [NEW] Strange behaviour in searching the current document
Public bug reported: While using Ctrl+F to find text in documents, I noticed that it often reported not finding it already on the first letter, even though that letter was in the text. It is reproducible by opening google, pressing Ctrl+F (getting the cursor out of the input area of course) and entering the number 2. It will not be found. Now enter any other character, and delete this character. The number 2 in 2008 will be found. Entering the number 0 will find nothing, entering another 0 will find 00 in 2008. However, I could not reproduce it on launchpad.net. It is there on some pages but not others. [Bug 60394] Re: screensaver starts but shows only a black screen
In my case it seems to have been a problem with waking up after sleep states, and not related to gnome-screensaver, since it only happens after going to sleep and waking up again. [Bug 60394] Re: screensaver starts but shows only a black screen
It seems like this may be a few different bugs that all have the same result, since it seems to manifest differently on different systems. My system is a freshly installed Gutsy, and gnome-screensaver worked just fine yesterday, but today it just blanks the screen. Previews work. Starting X without GNOME (through xinit), then starting gnome- screensaver and activating it through gnome-screensaver-command -a works. I hope this helps in fixing the bug. I'll be happy to provide any other information that is requested. -- screensaver starts but shows only a black screen https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/60394 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
