[Bug 883272] [NEW] Mouse navigation not working in fulls creen mode
Public bug reported: After upgrading to oneric navigation in full screen mode is not working anymore. Moving the mouse used to bring up a navigation area at the bottom of the window containing the progress bar and basic player controls such as pause and play. Now moving the mouse doesn't trigger any action at all and the is no way to bring up the navigation area. Right clicking does bring up the context menu but left clicking doesn't even stop the movie. Also the mouse pointer is not visible at all in full screen mode. [Bug 883272] Re: Mouse navigation not working in fulls creen mode
Hi Matthew, this is how I can trigger the described behaviour: * Click on any .avi file in the file manager. * When it opens it totem and starts playing press the F key = Playback switches into full screen mode * Moving the mouse does not have any visible effect, the navigation area is not displayed If I had to guess I'd say it's caused by the window (or overlay) displaying the video does not receive the mouse input. When pressing the left mouse button and moving the mouse (dragging) a drag icon is displayed as the cursor, indicating a document being dragged. Otherwise there is no pointer displayed at all. Information about my video card (onboard Radeon) can be found in the xorg log attached to the original report. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to totem in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/883272 Title: Mouse navigation not working in fulls creen mode To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/totem/+bug/883272/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 532633] Re: [light-theme] please revert the order of the window controls back to menu:minimize, maximize, close
Already now a large number of people are upset by the changed placement of the window controls. There's still time to fix it before the release though. Just admit people don't like the change and revert it! Put up a poll if you don't believe it. Releasing this change would have a major negative impact on usability and alienate a lot of supporters and advocates. -- [light-theme] please revert the order of the window controls back to menu:minimize, maximize, close https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/532633 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to metacity in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 391586] [NEW] Context menu Send to doesn't support Thunderbird
Public bug reported: When right clicking on a file in nautilus and selecting Send to ... the Send as combo box only offers to send the file with Evolution, to a removable drive or to the DVD creator. [Bug 279547] [NEW] Various settings not saved across reboots
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gconf Hi, I recently installed Ubuntu 8.04 on my laptop and noticed that many settings do not persist across reboots. For example, adding the terminal icon to the panel, changing compiz settings or setting up a VPN connection. To me this looks like a gconf problem but I don't know much about Gnome. The funny thing is that a previously configured VPN connection in network-manager doesn't show up in the gui anymore but the file .gconf/system/networking/vpn_connections/myconnection/%gconf.xml still contains the configuration. I set up my home directory to be encrypted and mounted at login using pam_mount, maybe this has something to do with the problem. (gconf starting before the filesystem is mounted?) Any help is appreciated. - David ProblemType: Bug Architecture: amd64 Date: Tue Oct 7 11:30:08 2008 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 8.04 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Package: gconf2 2.22.0-0ubuntu3 PackageArchitecture: amd64 ProcEnviron: SHELL=/bin/zsh LANG=de_DE.UTF-8 PATH=/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games SourcePackage: gconf Uname: Linux 2.6.24-19-generic x86_64 ** Affects: gconf (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug -- Various settings not saved across reboots https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/279547 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gconf in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
