dungeon thanks for the mounting guide but that is way too complicated. This bug has a "low" priority, and it has been going for quite some time, can anyone take this seriously? So please can anyone fix this and commit it to a package one can download?? I have the problem on Hardy. Following things I read in the internet I changed my fstab to /dev/scd0 /media/cdrom0 autouser,noauto,exec,utf8 but still it didd not work.
