[Bug 697026] [NEW] printed pdf file cannot be open by adobe reader

2011-01-03 Thread loafing
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evince

evince 2.32.0 (using poppler/cairo 0.14.3)
on ubuntu 10.10 (maverick) was used to print pdf files to pdf files.
I wanted to print two slides on one page.
However, adobe acrobat is not able to read the file (saying that
There was an error processing a page. There was a problem reading this document
(109),
see attached figure)
I guess there is something wrong with the created pdf file, although it still
can be open by evince.

** Affects: evince (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New

[Bug 248355] Re: Evince doesn't anti-alias graphics

2009-10-31 Thread loafing
Still happens on Karmic for me. It is even worse than reading it using
google doc.

In the attached screen shot, the left side is open in google doc since it is an
email attachment.
The right side is open by evince.

If the problem cannot get solved, I cannot read paper on ubuntu. So
kind of I got to switch back to windows.

Thanks if somebody will solve this.
