[Bug 544692] Re: Sleep button action does the wrong thing
I have a Dell Vostro 1510 laptop and have the same issue. Pressing the sleep button (Fn+F1) hibernates rather than sleeps. I am running a freshly installed 10.10. A bit of googling shows other people have the same problem: http://forum.notebookreview.com/dell-xps-studio-xps/346046-sleep-button- hibernates.html -- Sleep button action does the wrong thing https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/544692 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-power-manager in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 544692] Re: Sleep button action does the wrong thing
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. A new version of GNOME Power Manager is available on Maverick and we are wondering if this bug is still an issue for you with that version? Could you please test and comment back? Thanks in advance. ** Changed in: gnome-power-manager (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- Sleep button action does the wrong thing https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/544692 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-power-manager in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
