  Test case:
  - Add a file to trash if none already
  - Right click on Unity launcher trash icon > click on Empty Trash option
  - Nautilus open a window @ home folder

  When selecting 'Empty trash' from the launcher, I get a dialog to
  confirm the deletion and a Nautilus window. When emptying trash from
  Nautilus window, I get only a confirmation dialog as expected.

  Expected behavior:
  - Only confirmation dialog pops up

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1238346] Re: on bootup wrong keyboard layout is recognized

2013-10-19 Thread Daniel BRUN-PICARD
I have the problem only with Unity sessions, not with Gnome sessions.
The problem appears at the first login : it disapear if I close and re-
open my session without changing the keyboard selection.

Bug description:
  This is a regression.
  I have two keyboard layouts activated, the Dvorak and the English US. The
Dvorak should be the default keyboard. That is the way I have it set up, and it
 shows up in the task bar on top as En1, which is the Dvorak.
  However, when I start to type, it starts in QUERTY.
  ??
  To correct this, I go to the task bar (where it shows EN1, or Dvorak),
re-select the Dvorak, and then everything is fine.
  ??

  I have another minor problem which should probably go on another bug, but
happened at the same time.
  CTL-ALT-T doesn't bring up the terminal any more. No matter what keyboard I'm
using.

[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1142213] Re: emacs23/24 and other GTK applications do not start when run in Kubuntu 13.04 with oxygen-gtk theme enabled

  [Impact]

  [Test Case]

  * Install emacs24

  * Run emacs24
  * Install update
  * Try and run emacs24 again

  [Regression Potential]
  * Minimal
  * Upstream release for oxygen-gtk3 is only a bug fix release

  If I try to run emacs23 in Kubuntu 13.04, (KDE 4.10.0) I am finding that the
GUI starts only some of the time.

  If the GUI doesn't start then I will only see a process running in
  htop or similar.

  Starting emacs in a terminal window with the -nw argument or
  installing the Lucid interface shows that emacs does run each time it
  starts so the problem is either with the emacs GTK interface or the
  GTK libraries.

  Emacs24 exhibits the same problem.
