Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version. When you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running apport-collect bug # and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue. ** Changed in: totem (Ubuntu) Status: New = Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to totem in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1172165 Title: Ubuntu One opens totem mediaplayer Status in “totem” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: In 13.04 Raring (beta), when I click Explore inside the Ubuntu One GUI, it's Totem mediaplayer that opens, not Nautilus filemanager. The system then starts searching for installed codecs, if there's no video file in the folder I'm trying to explore. I found no relevant setting in dconf editor. Dear Sir If I remember well, this solved the issue: nano ~/.local/share/applications/mimeapps.list ## inode/directory=totem.desktop; I hope it is useful for you. [Desktop-packages] [Bug 1172165] Re: Ubuntu One opens totem mediaplayer
Update: issue not better in Raring's final release. Additionally, after I mounted a partition and click its icon in the Unity launchbar, it behaves the same as described earlier. Totem mediaplayer opens, instead of Nautilus filemanager. I added this comment, as it is not possible to edit a bug. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to totem in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1172165 Title: Ubuntu One opens totem mediaplayer Status in “totem” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: In 13.04 Raring (beta), when I click Explore inside the Ubuntu One GUI, it's Totem mediaplayer that opens, not Nautilus filemanager.
