@Joseph it happens in a new installation. I wouldn't expect this to be in the linux kernel, but if you are convinced that the test has value, please ping me again and I'll do the upstream kernel test @Sebastien, while it does 'affect' firefox, I wonder whether the bug is actually somewhere else, like in gnome-something. As I said, I have the same in thunderbird and kate. I wouldn't be surprised if the list is longer.
