Interesting. This is an ancient bug that probably has a really quick fix or was already solved. This is actually so old that I have replaced my sound card with a much better one with awesome drivers. It is possible this was a duplicate but at the time of filing, I searched and nothing came up. Oh it should also be noted that I have two sound cards. I have onboard sound which I don't use and the PCI sound card.
