[digitalradio] DM-780
Could someone tell me if DM-780 uses RSID/TSID. Thought it supported it, but can't find where to turn it on or off. Thanks Lynn

[digitalradio] Re: Anyone need a $6.50 soundcard ?
Andy, any takers on your offer. I am interested in the unit. Contact me off line to discuss your pendeng order. The shipping however is $8.00 , more than the product itself ! So, perhaps I should order several of them and just mail them to others than want one. They apparently weigh 4oz, sticking one in the US mail should cost a couple of dollars, not 8.00 (a guess) I have seen a couple of well known hams use these for digital modes. Anyone else want one ? [digitalradio] Re: Sound card install problem
Andy, try this site for a SP2 file to burn on a cd. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=049C9DBE- 3B8E-4F30-8245-9E368D3CDB5Adisplaylang=en If you need a better link (yahoo keeps cutting things up) email me at [EMAIL PROTECTED] Lynn - KB3FN I have been having a couple of small but odd-ball issues with Multipsk and Microkeyer and thought I would try another sound card , just for the heck of it. I disabled my on-board sound card and installed a Creative Audigy PCI card. I have installed many soundcards over the years but ran in to an basic problem with the latest card. When I attempt the software install from the supplied CD, it eventually asks me to insert the XP HE path that contains service pack 2. I have no CD for my OS, the PC came with XP HE already installed . The install attempt fails the first time, when I try it a second time the XP service pack question does not come up and I get a installed successfully message. After a reboot, the new hardware detected comes up, the soundcard drivers are not installed successfully. I have been to busy at the office to get home in time to call Creative's help line. Anyone have any ideas how I get the service pack 2 stuff ? Maybe it is on my HD somewhere ? Andy K3UK
