Re: [slim] SiriusXM Support Through ickStream
I am posting my email to SiriusXM and their response. *It makes me wonder whether we should be contacting someone else at SiriusXM to express our support for this? * _My_email_(similar_to_another_I_read_here):_ I AM A LONG TIME SIRIUSXM SUBSCRIBER. I LISTEN IN MY CAR AS WELL AS ONLINE AT HOME. EFFECTIVE 9/30/15, MY LOGITECH SQUEEZEBOX RADIOS AND DEVICES ARE NO LONGER ABLE TO STREAM SIRIUSXM. VERY DISAPPOINTING TO ME AND LOGITECH APPEARS TO BE NOT ABLE TO HELP. A 3RD PARTY PROVIDER TO SQUEEZEBOX, \"ICKSTREAM\" IS INTERESTED IN DEVELOPING A PLUGIN FOR SQUEEZEBOXES THAT CAN RETURN THIS FUNCTIONALITY. THE COMPANY, ICKSTREAM, ALREADY HAS SUCCESS IN DOING THIS AND HAS PLUGINS THAT ENABLE SQUEEZEBOXES TO WORK WITH OTHER STREAMING SERVICES. THEY ARE A HIGH QUALITY ORGANIZATION. A REVIEW OF THE LOGITECH FORUMS ON THIS STREAMING ISSUE WILL CONFIRM THAT THERE IS A GREAT DEMAND FOR SUCH A PLUGIN (AND LOTS OF DISAPPOINTMENT IF SOMETHING CAN'T BE DONE TO RETURN SIRUISXM TO OUR SQUEEZEBOX PLAYERS). THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION. I APPRECIATE IT. _Response_from_SiriusXM:_ -*Thank you for contacting SiriusXM regarding the Internet Listening service. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please contact your device manufacturer for additional support. Your SiriusXM service is not affected by this software update, and you can continue streaming SiriusXM online at player.siriusxm.com or by downloading our mobile app. Your feedback and suggestions are important to us and we will use them to improve the service that we offer. Re: [slim] SiriusXM Support Through ickStream
*I absolutely support this. This would breathe new life into my collection of Logitech radios, Booms and Duets. I have no problem at all keeping my computer running (it usually is running anyway). I'll send my message over to Sirius XM also using the category mentioned by others above. Please keep us up to date with anything else that we can do to support this effort. * ciarmer's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=37631 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=104395 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

[slim] Logitech Squeezebox App for Ipod
I am trying to use this app and I'm having some difficulty. I don't see where one has the ability to switch between Squeezebox Server and Mysqueezebox.com. This is something iPeng is certainly capable of doing. I was just wondering if I'm missing something. -- ciarmer ciarmer's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=37631 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=88613 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
