Re: [slim] LMS on Windows 10 IoT on Raspberry Pi2
I am failing to install LMS 7.9 on a Pi2 with Windows 10 IoT installed. I think the OS is so cut down that this is not supported and I will need to use Raspbian or similar. LMS installers as available today will NOT run on Windows 10/Pi. They're for x86 architectures only. The Pi is running some ARM CPU. You'd have to install Perl on that device manually. And most likely it would still fail, as we probably always assume Windows to be running on a x86 CPU. Has anyone else tried this and if so how did you get on? I haven't spent a thought about this yet. After reading how little Windows there is in Windows 10 IoT, I was wondering why anybody would even want to install this on a Pi2 :-). -- Michael ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
