Thanks Tom,

I mistakenly thought if I cleaned and reworked the springs alone on the PTO,  
it would cure the problem.  I implemented the fix per the URL's and the RV-7 is 
solid again.  I used a piece of "solder wick" for the ground strap.

If you have to go that route I have seen several  products from  
_Http://www.frontpanelexpress.com_ (http://www.frontpanelexpress.com)but 
not for radio 
faceplates so do not know.  Carl   WD8NHK
