Re: [Elecraft] Best Mac to use with KX3
I am very sorry. I sent wrong message here. What I intended to send was; *** Hi Steve, I use Mid 2014 Macbook Pro, macOS High Sierra, with my KX3 for FT8 operation. Some modes of Mac do not have Audio-in jack. So you may need an external USB audio device. In between Mac and KX3 is Griffin’s iMic. I use VOX instead of PTT. 73 de JH3SIF, Keith *** > 2019/01/30 6:18、John Stengrevics のメール: > > Kiichiro-san, > > Please contact Elecraft support: supp...@elecraft.com > > 73, > > John > WA1EAZ > >> On Jan 29, 2019, at 3:45 PM, Keith Onishi wrote: >> >> Hello, >> >> I am Kiichiro Onishi, JH3SIF, having K3 with SN 07902. >> >> I hoped my K3 had been shipped with 60m transmission disabled since my KX3 >> was shipped with 60m transmission disabled and your signed certification >> indicating the disablement. >> As you may know, hams operating in JA are not allowed to transmit on 60m and >> all TX/TRX MUST not be capable to transmit on the band, >> So, my K3 MUST have 60m transmission capability disabled so that I can have >> regal permission to operate my K3 in JA. >> Can you help me to disable the 60m transmission? >> >> 73 de JH3SIF, Kiichiro >> >>> 2019/01/28 2:08、Steve Grimaud (Gmail) のメール: >>> >>> I'm trying to find a good new or used Macbook or Mac mini to begin using >>> with my KX3. Re: [Elecraft] KX3 - Mode switch skips AM
Many thanks, Don. Now AM mode came back. Re: [Elecraft] KX3 - AFSK RTTY
Thanks, Don. I checked the transmitted signal with other TRX. No second harmonic was detected. Yes, cocoaModem supports sound card RTTY. iMic is a USB audio device. 73 de JH3SIF, Keith > 2017/03/29 9:37、Don Wilhelm のメール: > > Keith, > > The other station will not know what mark frequency you are using.
