Re: [Elecraft] OT: Parts Vendors
Yes, I've dealt with Dan several times over the last 5 or 10 years and never had a problem. In fact, I sent him an order for about $70 last week. [Elecraft] OT-Parts needed
I need some parts to repair a set of high speed strobes that have gone south. Specifically, I need a chip SQ3524N. While I am at it, I need also a transistor REF02/8725 that is in a large TO case. Attemptes to search on the internet have not turned up much for the 8725 item. Anybody have any of these items or know where I can get them? Appreciate any help. Trying to repair a one-off set of high speed strobes is tough without a schematic. I have them working after a fashion but they still blow fuses after several flashes so I am trying to shotgun some part replacements. Thanks for any assistance. 73, Charlie, W0YG..>> ___ Elecraft mailing list Post to: Elecraft@mailman.qth.net You must be a subscriber to post to the list. Subscriber Info (Addr. Hello All, I have a large amount of various new small parts (primarily 1/4 watt resistors including 1% types, board mounted pots, capacitors fixed and variable, fuses, etc). Some of these I have hundreds of the same values. If anyone is looking for parts, please let me know. I am in need of board mounted RFCs (various), 100K 1/4w, and some other items. Would like to trade stuff. Please contact me off list. Cheers, Julius n2wn ___ Elecraft mailing list Post to: Elecraft@mailman.qth.net You must be a subscriber to post to the list. I use Digikey.com, fantastic service, 24 hrs. shipped from Canada via Purolator Courier, they even print a Canadian catalog listing prices in Canadian dollars. Best service I've ever had from an electronic supplier. Re: [Elecraft] OT parts
Digikey (digikey.com) is first-rate. I use Digikey and Mouser for almost everything. Sometimes there is a noticeable difference in their prices but usually they are similar. Here in Dallas, I get stuff from Mouser in less than 24 hours. Digikey takes 3 or 4 days. 73/ Bob - W5BIG - Original Message - From: "kc5wa" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: Sent: Wednesday, July 20, 2005 7:24 PM Subject: [Elecraft] OT parts > I'm looking for some parts. RE: [Elecraft] OT parts
Try DigiKey, Dan's Small Parts, Ocean State Electronics, The Wireman, RadioWorks, Marlin P Jones and Associates, All Electronics, Fair Radio Sales, RF Parts, and a miriad of others, I have ordered from each of them at one time or another, it all depends on what parts you are looking for. Each has their own benefits/problems, so you have to 'go with the flow' and decide about the total cost - some have minimum order requirements, some have a premium for small orders, some have huge handling charges under certain circumstances - but when you really need a particular part, you have to accept such things if there is only one sourcing choice. Google and other search engines will often show you where to find a particular part. 73, Don W3FPR > -Original Message- > > I'm looking for some parts.
